2018 has been pretty scary so far… The world watches the ongoing soap opera of the world’s most powerful military powers locked in a new kind of cold war – an information war built on the mass marketing of false information. There are too many parallels with Orwell’s 1984 – no wonder that book has become a best seller again. It is in this new spirit of future shock that the new soundtrack music release by Steve Lowther (produced by C.P.Bryan), entitled “Scatterbrain Techno” can be best understood. Using retro analog synthesizer sounds, the track is a driving and disquieting commentary on today’s out of control “social media” landscape:
